That's a question we get asked quite often.
Your dog is old or suffers from heart failure but has matted fur, knots, and you don't know what to do.
We will carefully examine the situation, discuss the procedure in detail, and can also contact your veterinarian.
The matted fur must be removed, as it can lead to skin problems such as inflammation.
Step by step, often in several sessions, we remove the knots or the felt.
This involves using scissors or clippers.
This is quick and doesn't put too much strain on your dog, because brushing and untangling with a special comb is too strenuous for a sick dog.
We carefully assess how much your dog can tolerate. It is advisable that you remain present during the treatment.
